An exciting, mysterious event inspired by the fascinating beauty captured by some of history's most tortured artists for those interested in art history that lurks in the shadows. “Into the Shadows” features original performed pieces, a guided art project, immersive surround sound, custom video, music, theatrical lighting and special effects along with themed libations.
This event includes in-depth focus on four artists, a guided painting project in 4 steps, and fun “extras” such as an animatronic, skeletal raven named “Edgar,” projection effects, and high quality replicas of the art discussed.

An Adventure Through Exciting Art Heist History! $400 Make some art... and recover a stolen treasure! Learn some wild art heist history facts through original performances while enjoying a guided art project, tasty themed libations, and SOLVING A MYSTERY!
You have been invited to a covert gathering of a secret society of art thieves, where the plan is to celebrate some of your most notorious conquests! But plans quickly change when a mysterious video message crackles to life on the monitors... it's your arch nemesis, The Grand Larcenist!
You have been offered a challenge and a deadline. Can you solve the mystery and steal the fabled Imperial Star Gem from the locked vault? Or will you remain a thief-in-training?
“Art Heist” is part escape room, part art history presentation and a whole bunch of fun featuring original performances, crafty clues, glow-in-the-dark secret messages, codes to break, themed mocktails, and an art project inspired by the film posters of Saul Bass. “ART HEIST” has the feel of a classic heist or noir film, and can be modified to best utilize your venue while including a touch of local history.

Would you like to learn a little more about the tools used to create paintings, and how to use different kinds of paint? Trove’s painting workshop is a fun, casual group art lesson about the basics of painting on canvas, with the option of taking home supplies to start your own painting!
Not simply a "copy the instructor" lesson but a solid collection of tips, tricks and usable techniques to help demystify the process of painting and avoid early pitfalls that can sometimes end an art journey before it begins!
NOTE: This is strictly a group art lesson without the dramatic storytelling aspects of typical Trove Arts events.

Guests will meet the infamous “Rupert” (a very famous treasure hunter) who will offer a quest through the Trove Arts Art Parlour (a scavenger hunt with clever clues, hidden doorways, and secret buttons to find) and be guided through a unique and fun art technique to create an impressionist water lilly painting.

This art experience was designed as a 2 hour Trove Arts Art Camp for Kids and features an in-depth, multi-media art history presentation about Magritte, the Surrealist movement, why they began and how art was changed forever because of their ideas.
Guests will meet the infamous “Rupert” (a very famous treasure hunter) who will offer a quest through the Trove Arts Art Parlour (a scavenger hunt with clever clues, hidden doorways, and secret buttons to find) and be guided through a fun self-portrait inspired by Magritte's “Son of Man” painting... it's that one with the bowler hat guy with an apple in front of his face.
All supplies included as well as trinket treasure hunt prizes.

RENE MAGRITTE and The Surrealists
$300 This art experience was designed as a 2 hour Trove Arts Art Camp for Kids and features
an in-depth, multi-media art history presentation about Arp, the Dada movement, why they began and how art was changed forever because of their ideas.
Guests will meet the infamous “Rupert” (a very famous treasure hunter) who will offer a quest through the Trove Arts Art Parlour (a scavenger hunt with clever clues, hidden doorways, and secret buttons to find) and be guided through a rough figure sketch, a simplification of that sketch and ultimately a clay sculpture of that figure in the Arp “Dada style.”
All supplies included, as well as trinket treasure hunt prizes.

Guests will meet the infamous “Rupert” (a very famous treasure hunter) who will offer a quest through the Trove Arts Art Parlour (a scavenger hunt with clever clues, hidden doorways, and secret buttons to find) and be guided through a fun collage artwork inspired by music and Kandinsky paintings.
