Extensively researched and carefully handcrafted replica of the intricate architectural blocks designed by Frank Lloyd Wright for the famous Ennis House in Los Angeles.
These plaster castings are individually hand made, gallery quality art pieces.
The unique Ennis house has been used most famously in Blade Runner but also apears in countless films and television shows such as 1933 "Female," 1959 "House on Haunted Hill," 1975 "Day of the Locust," "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," 1989 "Karate Kid 3," 1989 "Black Rain," 1996 "The Glimmer Man," 1998 "The Replacement Killers," 1998 "Rush Hour," and 1999 "The Thirteenth Floor."
Large scale replicas of sections of the Ennis House were recreated on sound stages for films such as 1990 "Predator 2," "Star Trek Next Generation," 1991 "The Rocketeer," 2001 "Mulholland Drive," "Twin Peaks" and "Westworld."
Tiles are 16"X16" and weigh approximately 15 lbs.
Tiles come in plaster white but if you'd like another color, just email us and we'd likely be happy to apply anything from solid color to a faux finish or even gold leaf for a small fee.Tiles are custom made to order and require at least 4 days drying/curing time before shipping.
Feel free to email with any questions about availability: trovebespokearts@gmail.com
Each tile is nearly identical (as they come from the same mold) but will have several unique characteristics from minor flaws (such as small air bubbles) or lines that waver slightly.
If you are still reading, you already know how uneven and rough in nature the original concrete blocks were. By comparison these tiles are nearly perfect.
Note: this is a replica plaster tile inspired by the original cement cube blocks and NOT directly created from any original items.
All extra fees such as taxes included in price.Trove does not accept returns, exchanges, or cancellations, but please contact if you have any problems with your order or with any questions prior to ordering.
